We have partnered with an instantly recognisable, global, retail brand who are looking for a PQ Management Accountant to join their dynamic team.

With a £700m + revenue the business is continually expanding and offers potential candidates excellent future progressive opportunities.

The successful Management Accountant will support the Business Partner and the wider team with supporting their Benelux entities.

Previous experience working within a fast-paced environment is essential. The role will suit a curious, proactive and resilient candidate looking to work for a team where their recommendation of improving efficiencies will really count.

Main Responsibilities
• Responsible for month end close for Netherlands and Belgium costs.
• Ownership of Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Support... process improvements in existing processes
• Monthly accruals and prepayment journals
• Monthly P&L review and analysis
• Process improvement
• Support the Benelux team with ad-hoc analysis
• Support the Benelux team on budgets
• Monitoring all overheads and looking at ways to streamline and save money

Person Specification
• Strong management accounts foundation.
• First class communication skills
• Working towards professional finance qualification - ACCA/CIMA/ACA
• Determination to improve processes and overcome hurdles rather than expecting everything to work perfectly.
• Methodical and organised approach, with the ability to deliver processes to tight deadlines and influence others to do the same.
• Advanced Excel
• Ability to work in a high pressured ever evolving environment.
• Ability to multi-task, manage several deliverables simultaneously, work independently and be extremely flexible in order to meet tight deadlines.

Retail or FMCG would be highly desirable but not essential.
