My client is a high growth, tech enabled, PE backed business looking for a Group Management Accountant to join the City of London office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the biggest brands out there in a fast paced, growing international SME environment.

About You:
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Ideally 5 years commercial experience in a professional services sector.
• Consolidation experience

About the Role:
• Delivering monthly management and annual financial accounting for group entities, including consolidation for management review.
• Reporting against budgets and prior year, by entity and on a consolidated basis, providing analytical review and variance analysis
• Supporting management review of gross margins by customer, segment and region, highlighting variances, opportunities and risks
• Supporting purchasing and financial systems of control, providing insight and suggesting improvements to senior management
• Reporting the group treasury... and cash forecast position, identifying risk and significant foreign exchange exposure
• Reconciliation each month of all balance sheet control accounts, including trade debtors, prepayments, work in progress, deferred revenue, trade creditors, provisions, accruals, capitalisation and intercompany accounts
• Acting as the group liaison with management accountants / finance managers for off-shore group entities in USA, Bangladesh, South Africa and Bulgaria
• Monthly accounting journals preparation: accruals, prepayments, commissions, stock, capital expenditure, depreciation, amortisation, tax provisions
