We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and diligent junior system/network administrator ideally with virtualization skills, to be part of the team that manages CIBIO/InBIO’s internal IT infrastructure.

The candidate will play a key role in managing, maintaining and upgrading the software, hardware and network systems of the IT infrastructure. The main goal is to ensure that all the components of the IT infrastructure are running efficiently. We offer integration in an international working environment, technical training and career development.

Skills and competencies:

Essential:
- Previous working experience as system/network administrator (2+ years)
- Hands-on experience with diverse computer systems (e.g., Microsoft Windows, MacOS, Linux) and networks;
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
- Experience with Windows Server Network Infrastructure;
- Monitoring and System Management Tools;
- Detail oriented;
- Excellent time-management and planning skills;
- Good... communication skills.

Desirable:
- OpenStack or other cloud layer implementation and administration;
- Knowledge of managing and maintaining DELL/EMC storages;
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux networking security;
- Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python);
- Automation and Orchestration Tools (Terraform, Ansible);
- Ability to repair and replace IT equipment as necessary.
