The mission of the Senior Performance Account Manager is to develop and implement Performance Marketing strategies which meet individual... client goals such as increased brand awareness, conversion rate, revenue and ROI. They work with leading ecommerce brands to strengthen the growth and development of our client’s digital channels.

Our ideal candidate will hit the ground running. They will have a strong understanding of paid search, paid social, display and retargeting. The chosen candidate will display a high level of Performance Marketing knowledge and a keen desire to learn. We are looking for a logical and analytical thinker, with strong initiative and who takes pride in their work. As Pattern’s Senior Performance Account Manager, you will deliver top class service to your clients, delivering above their expectations.

Reporting to the Senior Performance Department Director, you will be a key player in the Performance team and work closely with members of the broader Digital Agency team.

Required Experience And Skills
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a hands-on Performance Marketing role, preferably within an agency
• Applicants must be permitted to work permanently in Australia with no restriction on hours (e.g., citizen, permanent resident)
• BA in Marketing or a similar discipline
• Execution experience across SEM channels, including AdWords and Bing Ads
• Experience with remarketing, prospecting, paid social
• Experience with bid management software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical with an eye for insights
• Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
• Experience with Google Analytics
• Experience working with ecommerce clients is a bonus

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Independently manage and take ownership of a portfolio of clients
• Identify insights and opportunities that feed into development of strategies which meet client expectations and growth targets
• Develop client Performance Marketing strategies on a quarterly and yearly basis. Ensure proposed strategies help clients achieve their KPIs.
• Test, scale and optimise campaigns in Google Ads, Google Shopping and Bing Ads and other channels including but not limited to Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads and Criteo
• Analyse and optimise existing paid search campaigns including campaign structure, keyword research, negative keywords, bid adjustments, creating new campaigns, writing compelling ad copy, audience targeting and any other optimisation required to drive revenue and sales.
• Understand and manage retainer according to scope and within agency profitability targets
• Keep up to date on new developments in Performance Marketing, actively researching, testing and proposing new approaches to improve results
• Work closely with the SEO, Social and Analytics teams to drive integrated strategies and insights
• Develop blog content for the Pattern website and participate in webinars to provide fresh thought-leadership within the Performance Marketing industry.
• Provide specialist Performance Marketing advice and insights to broader Pattern team and feed into consulting projects as required
• Competitor analysis
