Senior Environmental Scientist in Approvals, Planning & Assessments to join a Brisbane CBD team of 20 (approvals team sits at 5) offering full access to a wide variety of projects - no pigeonholing into one sector.
This role is an urgent requirement & has come available as 2x internal staff have been seconded into a govt agency to do some major review work.
Projects:
Interesting mix of Solar, Battery, Power Lines and Mining.
Predominant focus will be QLD Planning Assessments and Environmental Approvals.
Working outside of QLD jurisdiction is not always available for consultants given the state based nature of the planning systems, however here you’ll be invited to work on Major Projects across NSW, VIC, WA and SA.
The Consultancy:
Reporting to the State Director who is just a very decent human (oh, and very good at planning approvals), this is a full-time, permanent role with a National consultancy with a great pipeline of work.
The National team is almost 300, with the EIA and... Approvals capability pushing 70.
Experience:
4-10yrs exp in an Environmental Consulting Approvals role required.
