We are looking for a highly self-motivated and enthusiastic Lead Sensor Design Engineer to work in our Sensor Development Team in Espoo. The Espoo team is responsible for the development of our unique mass sensitive acoustic sensors based on patented Solidly Mounted Resonator (SMR) technology combined with Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC). This role involves leading and executing the development activities in acoustic resonator, ASIC, and sensor characterization.

Key roles and responsibilities:

· Lead design and implementation of sensor design to excel application needs.

· Analyse sensor performance through simulations and experiments.

· Work with an experienced cross-functional team of engineers and biochemists and collaborate with international customers and partners.

· Write project plans and reports.

We expect the candidate to have:

· MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics.

· +5 years of experience in working with microelectromechanical systems... (MEMS).

· Basic understanding in integrated circuits and high motivation to learn.

· Experience in common design tools (L-Edit, K-Layout).

· Experience in simulations (e.g. COMSOL Multiphysics) and data analysis (data-analysis with e.g.Matlab/JMP).

· Programming skills (e.g., Python).

· Passion to meeting customer needs and project timelines.

· Hands on experience in sensor testing and characterization.

· Capability for out of the box thinking and an entrepreneurial can-do attitude.

· Interest to explore new things with multidisciplinary team.

We value also:

· Know-how in FBAR/SMR and acoustic sensors.

· Experience in sensor-ASIC interfacing

· Project management and team leading skills

· Finnish language skills
