As our Software Engineer in Test (SDET), you will join a curious and diverse team of professionals with in-depth experience in cyber security software and computer networking – a great group of security professionals, developers, and quality engineers. What is F-Secure SENSE about?

Today’s homes are filling up with devices connecting to the internet from computers and phones to smart TVs, gaming consoles, fridges and baby monitors. If you can't install internet security on these devices, you need a solution to protect your smart home devices against cyber threats on top of identity protection looking after the online services used to manage these devices. Consumers are already concerned about the security and privacy of their IoT devices; by becoming part of our team, you’ll play an integral part in assuring them that we’ve got their back. Key responsibilities:
• Designing, writing,and maintaining automated test cases based on the product requirements and networking standards
• Raising, documenting and maintaining report about product defects
• Working with continuous integration system and its infrastructure
• Advancing the quality baseline and devise improvement actions for our core embedded SDK product, including reference platforms and how to test against them
• Watching, learning, collaborating and challenging us in our thinking of how software should be built
• Collaborating across development teams and with stakeholders

What are we looking for?
• Experience in testing and test automation
• Experience in designing, developing and maintaining tests automation scripts (Python/Shell/Bash/Robot Framework) on embedded system (Linux)
• Fluent in using command line interface in different operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
• Experience or interest in testing of embedded/firmware software
• Understanding of computer networking is seen as benefit
• You enjoy working in English in a global work environment. Our organisation language is English.
