Due to continuing growth, DCA is currently looking to recruit a talented Developer Programmer to join our team. This role will provide the successful applicant with rewarding and challenging opportunities to work on a variety of technologies.

Essential position requirements include:
• Australian Computing Society (ACS) recognised IT bachelor degree or higher qualification or alternatively at least five years of relevant experience and/or relevant vendor certification;
• At... least 4 years' prior experience in programming including experience in Android and iOS for commercial, mass-market applications;

Role responsibilities and duties include:
• Researching, consulting, analysing and evaluating software needs
• Identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods
• Software Design and Development, Testing, debugging, diagnosing and correcting errors in software programming language within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure programs and applications perform to specification
• Writing, updating and maintaining technical program, end user documentation and operational procedures
• Writing and maintaining program code to meet system requirements, system designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards
• Provide advice, guidance and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities such as financial evaluation and costing for recommending software upgrades
• Assisting internal teams with enquiries and support issues as well as supporting end-users.

Further, skills and experience in the following areas would be highly regarded:
• .NET Web development, CSS, HTML5
• C#/Java/Angular programming
• MVC architecture
• MS SQL Server /Oracle
• Web services
• Understanding of the full SDLC
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical problem solving skills

DCA looks forward to welcoming versatile new members to our expanding team. Total remuneration package $75,000 - $85,000 based on qualifications and experience.
