The leader who will be our Head of Careers and Student Pathways will be joining our school at an exciting time as our campus is expanded and the Primary section of school opens next to secondary in August 2023... Candidates should have a genuine commitment to working in a progressive and collaborative environment where they can have a positive impact on every student.

This role involves working effectively with all stakeholders of our school to educate and guide students and their families about the pathways possible for them in education and the world of work. This person will work with our curriculum teams to embed career skills and enhance our option process for Year 9 and Year 11 students. They will work with students, families and the wider community to lead our super curricular provision and work experience programs. This role is focused on developing provision for our Year 7 to 11 students to best prepare them for Sixth Form. As such, experience and understanding of the University application process is highly desirable. Our next Head of Careers and Student Pathways will work closely with our Higher Education and Universities department to ensure our graduates are truly prepared for life beyond Bangkok Prep.

This person will have a direct role in leading and coordinating provision for our Highly & Exceptionally Able Learners including identification of HEAL students and strategies for in class provision. In addition, this person will work with admissions and marketing to lead our external scholarship program as well as coordinating extracurricular opportunities for all HEAL students. They will work closely with our teachers who operate our whole school Student Athlete program and our Senior Services Manager and Communications & Community Affairs Manager to provide a wide range of opportunities for all our students through links in a local, national and a global network.

This is a relatively new role at Bangkok Prep and one with exciting opportunities and potential to have a high level of impact on all our wonderful students as we continue to develop our provision both in and out of lessons.
