Production Manager, Manufacturing, Stoke to £55K A leading leisure and technology company are requiring an experienced Production Manager to manage and improve the production and associated processes, systems and documentation (including manufacturing products, health & safety, quality and traceability etc) of the company. As Production Manager you will be based in Stoke-On-Trent on a full-time permanent basis and role will entail working closely with the existing production, warehouse and operation teams, reporting directly to the Head of Operations Key Responsibilities and Duties-Responsible for ensuring effective operation of the manufacturing teams to deliver world class quality products whilst ensuring safety, quality and cost objectives are achieved.
• Implementing and driving KPIs for the manufacturing and associated functions to demonstrate performance and to drive continuous improvements across all areas.
• Managing daily production teams and leading by example to foster a... flexible and proactive team culture. Work closely with other teams in the business to ensure overall efficiency of the teams is optimised. Required Experience
• Excellent management, planning and organisational skills.
• Degree Calibre/ A strong engineering background preferable and be able to learn, understand and apply the mechanical and technical principles applicable to the products and the procedures used in the business.
• Possess strong planning and organisational skills and be able to assist in determining and prioritizing changes and improvements needed.
• To be able to lead the implementation of the strategic and long term plans of the directors as well as assist in determining what improvements are needed within the business and where.
• Capability to supervise and motivate people by being actively involved in working with teams and assist in implementing changes and improvements.
• Ability to produce documentation of relevant and necessary processes and procedures
• Operational management experience
• Leadership of functional unit
• Budget/financial control and resource management experience
