We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our brilliant team.
We are proud to say that Connect Live UK not only survived the last few years, but we have come back with a ‘bang’ and we need someone to help get our well oiled machine into perfect working order.
Ideally, we would like you to have an amount of experience in the AV Rental / Events supply sector because there will be a degree of ‘hitting the ground running’.
We need someone who will ensure the smooth, efficient, and profitable day to day running of the internal business at an operational level. Someone forward thinking with great ideas to improve the interan; processes that will help the company and the team operate to maximum productivity.
The role is hands-on and will include an involvement in the management of our assets, the rental warehouse, transport, studio, and storage departments within the business.
The role requires managing a small team and liaising on a daily basis with a variety of suppliers, so... confidence and good communication skills are essential.
Qualities we are looking for:
- Experience in an operations role within an asset rental business within the live event / technical production industry.
- Good communications / interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English speaker
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Flexibility in working - short-notice changes in hours and schedules.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise a demanding workload.
- Ability to handle and resolve sensitive HR / staff issues within operational teams with confidence.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety principles
- Strong IT skills.
