Fields of activity

Joining an international team of dedicated and experienced people, the successful candidate will be required to assist the department head in various fields and will have the following responsibilities:

Tasks and responsibilities
• Implement data governance policies and procedures in order to define an efficient classification of data using relevant metadata, rules of data stewardship and identification of relevant data sources... in the IT landscape.
• Define Master Data Manage7ment requirements and identify golden data sources to increase data reliability.
• Hands-on involvement in day to day operations and implementation projects regarding the Data Warehouse, Master Data Management and Business Intelligence tools
• Increase efficiency and save time in future projects by removing the recurrent time waste regarding data source and identification of relevant stakeholders
• Work together with the IT architecture team to increase visibility over data landscape by using enterprise data modelling.
• Define rules and KPIs for data quality, implement quality checks in ETL data flows, monitor data quality and provide relevant reports.
• Work with the ISO & DPO function in order to define and enforce specific security and privacy requirements for data items, taking into account data privacy regulations such as GDPR and banking sector specific regulations

Skills and qualifications
• Strong problem solving skills;
• Good knowledge of Data Governance and Data Management principles;
• Good knowledge of with database technologies MS SQL (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) and Oracle is considered an advantage;
• Demonstrate professionalism and competence in all interactions with internal and external counterparts;
• Promotes open culture, dialogue-oriented and flexible; Acts as an agent of change;
• Effective IT Project management skills;
• Experience in the FAD & custody banking sector, covering multiple aspects of the business processes and data requirements is considered an advantage;
• Experience in creating and analysing RFPs is considered an advantage;

Your profile
• You hold a Master or Bachelor’s degree in Business Engineering, IT;
• You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience;
• You are Fluent in English, written and spoken;
• You have strong communication skills;
• You show good organization, multitasking and prioritization skills related to business strategy
• You are proactive, eager to learn and grow;
• You act as a team player whilst being able to coach less experienced colleagues in conceptual work and strategic direction which includes sharing your knowledge.
