Department Overview

It is a new cross-company organization that enhances the quality of UI / UX of digital contents owned by Communications & Energy Company.

We act as UX consultants for all digital content services.

Major digital content services

Rakuten TV, Rakuten Tickets, Rakuten Music, Content Web Media, etc.

Position Details

(1) We support from decision making to implementation for new releases and enhancements of each service.

Specifically

- Organization of issues and definition of requirements

- Review wire frames and... UI mockups

- Perform user analysis and link with numbers

- Examine the evaluation method

- Collaborate with various stakeholders

(2) We will devise UI / UX improvement measures for each service, and make proposals and follow-up to the business divisions.

Specifically

- UX research based on each business

- Improvement proposals and implementation status follow-up based on evaluations of NPS, SUS, etc.

- Other suggestions for improvement to the business side regarding UI / UX

- Collaboration with various stakeholders

- Accumulation of UI / UX know-how and sharing of knowledge of each business (holding study sessions, etc.)

Since it is an organization specializing in UX that was newly established as a focus organization for officers, there are many changes and speedy response is required, but it is a company that has a wide range of services including overseas, and it has a wide variety of business models. It is possible to gain experience.

Team composition

One UX consultant manager candidate is enrolled.

We are looking for people who can work with us under the manager candidate.

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience in UX regardless of industry (no design experience required)

- Experience in a series of processes from UX planning to implementation in websites and applications

- Experience in UX proposals to business divisions from the standpoint of a consultant

- Experience in designing movement lines and behavior of multiple screens such as wire frames and interactions

- Experience in directing designers

- Japanese: Business level

- English: Business level (because of communication with foreign business representatives)

Desired Qualifications:
- Web director experience

- Product manager experience

- Knowledge and experience regarding web marketing

- Basic HTML knowledge (those who can understand the structure of the page by looking at the source code)
