Irembo is a technology company in the gov-tech and fin-tech spaces that designs and develops digital products focused on users in Africa, starting with Rwanda . Irembo has five years of experience creating Irembo’s pioneer product, the online platform irembo.gov.rw , which helps Rwandan citizens and foreigners to access over 100 public services. To date, it has enabled 20M+ transactions, and we have ambitions and plans to scale our technology across Africa to enable more governments and enterprises to serve their users better. Role overview:

What you will do:
• Handle and resolve customer requests, inquiries, and complaints via phone, email, social media, and in person as fast and as efficiently as possible.
• Direct customers to our online/self-service resources to minimize walk-ins.
• Create, manage, and track customer data using our online tools
• Make recommendations to management to improve customer experience through... participation in CX brainstorming sessions.
• Collaborate with the CX team to meet customer needs.
• Attending training and audit sessions to improve our knowledge of our products to assist our customers better.
• Onboarding and training new users.
• Any other duties as may be given.

You will be a good fit if:

• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• You are tech-savvy and can learn new software with ease
• Comfortable with Windows/Word/Excel, Smartphone, and social networks
• You have previous experience with customer experience processes and tools
• You have a passion for service
• You are patient and an active listener
• You are attentive to detail
• You are self-driven and proactive
• You have 1+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a tech-driven company.
• You have a University Degree in a related field or are enrolled in University.
