• Prepare plans and operation programs for all plastic production machines and the supporting/secondary equipment (For example, extruders ,injection machines, plastic crushers and air compressors) and present them for approval to the plastic department manager.
• Handling the daily production process (extrusion and injection) and all the related activities.
• Follow up on the implementation of work orders in accordance with the plan.
• Preparing production reports that contain operating and stopping rates, optimum performance rates for machines and analyzing operating conditions.
• Monitor and analyze the scrap ratios and any deviation in the expected production rates.
• Follow up the malfunctions during operation and suggest solutions for them.
• Implement and follow regular preventive maintenance procedures for all machines.
• Create a database for each equipment separately, including a record of faults, maintenance expenses and spare parts used.
• Allocates day to day manpower for... different functions on the production lines and solving any rising attendance issues
• Evaluate the operator's performance.
• Providing supervisors and technicians with the information necessary to raise their technical and administrative competence.
• Make sure that health and safety standards, industrial safety and occupational safety instructions are being strictly followed.
• Assist in preparing reports for new molds trials. Updating the process parameter sheet and maintain it. Job Requirements
• Bachelor of Engineering (Specialized in Plastics or Mechanical )
• Knowledge about plastic materials and quality standards
• 5 Years of experience working in manufacturing of plastic (pipes and fittings preferred)
• Experience in operating different plastic machines.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in reading data sheets of plastic material.
• Familiar with plastic machines maintenance.
• Industrial management.
• Good English language.
• Results-oriented and attention to details.
• Ability to work under pressure.
