About the role

The Development and Planning Engineer will be responsible for maintaining fleet continuous airworthiness to achieve maximum operational availability while maintaining required level of safety. In this role, you will prepare and control all required documentation for fleet airworthiness.

Specific responsibilities for the role include:
• Evaluate technical documentation issued by airworthiness authorities, aircraft manufacturer and vendors in order to evaluate its application and impact on fleet airworthiness, aircraft reliability, maintainability and safety.
• Create or amend the Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) to comply with regulatory requirements, manufacturer and reliability recommendations.
• Prepare and update Fleet Maintenance Plan in order to comply with approved Aircraft Maintenance.
• Program requirements, maximizing aircraft availability and optimize maintenance resources.
• Update maintenance tracking system with new or amended AMP, in order all... requirements are fully complied with.
• Review Service Bulletins (or equivalent documents) or other Modifications, issued by manufacturer, Vendors or Part 21 organizations, in order to evaluate its applicability and cost/benefit to the fleet.
• Issue Work Order Requests or Task Cards to Part 145 for the compliance of required maintenance.
• Assure that Part 145 contracted maintenance organizations have completed required preparation to comply with assigned maintenance events.
• Provide technical assistance to Part 145 contracted maintenance organizations and follow-up progress of maintenance work orders to comply with required maintenance standards.
• Prepare and review required documentation for ARC (Airworthiness Review Certificate) or CMR (Certificate of Maintenance Requirement) renewal in order to safeguard fleet airworthiness.
• Analyze aircraft reliability data in order to achieve program requirements.
• Prepare regular reports on fleet availability and maintenance status to inform management and optimize the AMP.
• Update operational information systems with maintenance events, in order to inform Company departments on maintenance events.
• Contact flight crews and Part 145 vendors to solve technical problems or unscheduled events with aircraft fleet.
• Control open deferred items, plan its correction in the fleet, to maintain aircraft airworthiness.

About you

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering or Accepted Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) with 5 years of certifying experience or EASA Part 66 B1, B2 or C license (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years in Aircraft Maintenance or Planning, in an EASA Part M or Part 145 Organization or equivalent, or 5 years in aircraft engineering organization.
• Experience with corporate / business / charter operation.
• Experience working with a maintenance tracking system (CAMP).
• Good knowledge of English language, written and spoken.
