Electrical Shift Engineer
Location: Cambridge Science Park
Salary: up to £45k per annum Working
Hours: 06.30am till 19.30pm Working Days: Week 1-Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday; Week 2
• Wednesday, Thursday 25 days Holiday + Bank Holidays The Role: We are looking for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and operating all electrical systems and equipment on site. The role requires a flexible approach to working hours as the successful candidate will be required to work on a rotating shift pattern. Responsibilities:
• Maintaining and operating all electrical systems and equipment on site
• Conducting planned maintenance tasks and reactive repairs as required
• Responding to electrical breakdowns in a timely manner
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant regulations and procedures
• Troubleshooting electrical faults and carrying out repairs as required
• Conducting... electrical testing and inspections
• Liaising with other departments to ensure electrical systems and equipment are functioning effectively
• Maintaining accurate records of all work carried out
• Reporting any defects or issues to the relevant personnel Requirements:
• A relevant electrical engineering qualification (e.g. HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Experience working as an Electrical Engineer in a similar role
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• A flexible approach to working hours and the ability to work on a rotating shift pattern
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and procedures
