Electrical Maintenance Engineer (London) £42k per annum

Your new company

You’ll be working at a vibrant, well-respected commercial office building located in Central London not far from the city itself. The dynamic nature of the commercial environment provides a consistently challenging and engaging place of work, encompassing a mixture of office, restaurant & critical all in one site. this role is Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

Your new role

You’ll work within a lively maintenance team covering mainly reactive and planned preventative maintenance, along with occasional project and call-out requirements. You’ll be responsible for the provision of repairs, refurbishment, and operation of the university’s electrical aspects, as well as carrying out the service and maintenance of a diverse range of electrical equipment in accordance with current standards and health and safety procedures.

What you'll need to succeed

You’ll be... City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 qualified in a relevant electrical certificate. Your previous maintenance experience within commercial or public sector environments will be beneficial, as will familiarity with inspection, testing and fault finding. You’ll have a strong work ethic and be capable of working independently as well as part of a team, and will be comfortable with and aware of the demands of working a customer-facing role.
