Join us within our Power Transmission & Distribution team as Electrical Power / Grid Connection Consultant (m/f/d) with relevant industrial experience developing HV and MV grid connection solutions and electrical plant designs. In our interdisciplinary project teams, you will work on projects for a sustainable power supply with high shares of renewable energies. Typical projects would be in the field of energy transmission and distribution systems, grid connection of Solar PV, Wind, Hybrid and BESS power plants as well as green hydrogen plants. Currently, a significant proportion of projects are located in French speaking West Africa. The team is based in our Munich office, however, the option of working in our Fontainebleau (France), Madrid (Spain), Bremen, Essen, Berlin or Hamburg office will be considered for the right candidate. Your responsibilities: Lead on project grid connection scope, including liaison with relevant project stakeholder PPA and plant technical limits preparation and review Prepare, check and approve CAPEX / OPEX estimation of grid connection infrastructures Carry out technical due diligences Provide technical engineering support at all stages of the project development cycle Prepare, check and approve technical reports Prepare, review and evaluate EPC and IPP tenders Review project designs including FEED and detailed design level Manage work packages as well as complete projects, if desired Provide support for proposal preparation Liaise and communicate effectively with team, clients and stakeholders Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on power engineering You are fluent in French and English.
