You will contribute as part of an integrated cross... functional team to the Electrical Wiring Interconnection System architecture, design, certification and delivery of the Lilium Jet, whilst also working on the project management, quality system, methods, standards and tools.As an EWIS System Engineer you will be part of an interdisciplinary IPT (Integrated Project Team) responsible for supporting all EWIS project aspects along with several additional departments & systems of our Lilium Jet from prototype into serial production.You will have an opportunity to shape the future of mobility by, not only defining the EWIS, but also developing components and co-ordination with regulatory partners/suppliers.You will take responsibility for the development of subsystems and components and ensure their compliance to certification and safety standards.Building upon your expertise you'll play a key role in bringing our innovative aircraft to life.Your Day to Day:Support EWIS project management, coordination and reporting within the IPT and the teamSupport planning and risk activities, participate to ensure on time delivery of all tasks/projects undertakenSupplier monitoring activities and coordination with different stakeholdersPrepare and continuously improve processes, methods, standards, guidelines and tools for the EWIS projectDraft the Electrical System Schematics and Wiring Diagrams 2D drawingsSize cables and connectors, select the components vs requirementsDevelop, challenge and continuously improve the system's design and item's technical conceptsDefine requirements for subsystems and componentsWork on ad hoc related tasks or projects provided by managementConduct the design and project to compliance of the system to the Type Certificate approvalSupport team members in their tasks and coordinate activities with other systemsYour Profile:Degree in relevant engineering discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related field requiredMinimum 5-10 years of Aerospace experience, with a good Knowledge of DOA Part 21J environmentExperience on Electrical Systems, Avionics Systems, Grounding and Bonding, or similar domain is necessary as well as technical, project coordination or quality experienceKnowledge on System Engineering development ARP4754, safety and certification processes as AC 25.1701-1, AMC 20-23, CS-25 subpart H and Electrical Standards as AC43.13-1BKnowledge on electrical 2D drawing tool such as Electre, Zuken, Capital Graphics, Autocad Electrical, NX schematicsGood knowledge on harness routing and installations rules (e.g. redundancy, segregations, protections, band radius, attachment, marking, etc) and familiarity with a 3D harness routing toolKnowledge on manufacturing drawings (form boards) specifications as lacing, marking, BOMs, etcElectromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3), and DO160 awareness highly appreciatedBasic knowledge of PDM/PLM and EWIS design CAD software is beneficialExperience of working with various suppliers and managing deliverables is requiredStrong motivation to help build structures, standards, methods and processesHigh level of self-reliance with the ability to work in a team, as well as autonomouslyTarget-oriented, driven workstyle with analytic problem-solving skills requiredAbility and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment is requiredFluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language would be beneficialLife at Lilium:The wellbeing of our employees is a high priority.
