Job Description:
Invent the future by leading technical strategy and customer technical discussions in area of Multifunction Avionics Processors and modular open systems architecture (MOSA). Build relationships with and work alongside customers to understand their mission needs and translate those into technical specifications for design teams. Lead cross-functional engineering teams to successfully architect next generation processor systems, perform system trades, and execute the development strategy. Prepare clear and compelling technical responses to RFIs and RFPs leveraging our market-leading technology.

Essential Functions:
• Write technical responses to RFIs and RFPs
• Architect multifunction avionics mission processors and OSA hardware and software solutions
• Lead internal teams to develop best value, optimized solutions
• Develop technology roadmap and advocate for internal investment for strategic technology advancement
• Perform market, competitor, and capability analysis for strategic planning
• Develop and maintain customer relationships
• Act as primary technical point of contact for customers
• Represent primary voice of the customer to internal teams
• Establish intra-company and industry teams for joint pursuits
• Develop and maintain marketing plan and materials
• Present clearly and concisely to customers and internal leadership
• Occasional travel expected to support customer meetings

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field and 15+ years of relevant experience, OR, MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field and 13+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in avionics processor design and/or software design
• Active Secret security clearance
• Prior or current experience with business capture
• Preferred Additional Skills:
• Team leadership experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• MS in Engineering or equivalent field
• Knowledge of COTS military avionics hardware
• Knowledge of multi-function mission applications including electronic warfare (EW) and tactical communications technologies and techniques
• Experience developing R&D technology roadmaps

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
