As an Engineering Geologist, you should be technically robust in producing geological desk studies, managing large GI projects, with some experience in geotechnical design such as ground improvement, slope stability analysis, settlement analysis, shallow and deep foundations and retaining walls. As part of the infrastructure team, you will be involved in strategy, concept, scheme development to detailed design and construction stages. As an Engineering Geologist, it's expected that you have a degree qualified in engineering geology or civil/geotechnical engineering, are professionally qualified (Chartered) or working towards this either with the Geological Society of London... and/ or the ICE and can demonstrable extensive record delivering geological/ geotechnical projects using applicable standards and principles.
