Job description, responsibilities and duties
Be part of Customer Projects Operations and experience 50 years in Project and Engineering. Our mission is to master and support grow of large, complex and international projects business for global accounts and targeted customers through the Global and Regional Application Centers, supporting in parallel project ambitions for Local Execution Centers in Europe in tendering and projects executions.

What will you do?

- Provide technical complex designs and optimizations to customer projects & services teams, by having solid technical knowledge and knowhow for Tendering, Execution and commissioning.

- Have a solid internal network with SIT global Team, Global DPAC Teams and EEC Teams to work together and be a single point of contact for our clients

- Understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements; may help customers to define their needs for Datacenter, Utilities, MM and Oil and Gas... Projects in Europe

- Help establish project or service technical strategies, internal procedures & best practices

- Communicate results, issues and solutions internally and to customers

- Troubleshoot product and system within Europe (therefore owning a EU Passport is a must)

Place of Work: sites and the following locations:

Slovakia: our offices in Bratislava, Žilina and Košice

Work from home

Other countries: work from home with occasional travel to Bratislava office.

Key activities and responsibilities:

 Participate on Project execution system design review and Tendering Design Review for priority project and key clients

 Elaborate comprehensive System validation plans and can participate and test in factory or site

 Implement or check Communication IED descriptions (CID files) for communication with internal and external SCADA systems

 Defines IP and Ethernet network between connected devices

 Participates in Tender process to estimate and quote manhours needed

 Participates on Site commissioning on ED SWGR and EMCS interfacing

 Perform technical coordination between electrical team and DPAC Team during FAT and SAT test

You will need to build and maintain internal relationships:

 With the Project Team to organize Tender / Execution / Design / commissioning tasks

 With the Project Manager (PM), to manage schedules and customer interfaces

 With the Design Leaders, Technical Leaders

 with the other teams to be aware and informed about latest trends and practices in digital community

and external relationships:

 With the customers, upon request of the TL (or PM)

 Works for internal project and service technical teams along all the customer installation lifecycle, with direct interaction with external stakeholders/customers.

More detailed description of successful candidate's activities and responsibilities:

Technical Responsibilities:

- Assumes technical responsibility for robust design or for commissioning

- Ensures quality (content, timing, costs) of the work done

- Writes Technical reports to TL and Client

- Participates in design meetings if required, participates actively in the capitalization and sharing of experience

- Maintains technical theoretical and applied skills in the ED and Power Systems domain

- Contributes to technical innovation and productivity by sharing best practices

Skill Sets:

- Strong skills in IEC & IEEE standards applicable within the ED field, knowledge of the methodology & acceptance criteria defined therein

- Strong knowledge of Protection system operation, latest ranges of protection relays, preferably Micom, Sepam, Easergy & Vamp ranges

- Advanced level skills in communication protocols

- Expert EPAS/PACIS skills

- Experience using Wonderware is an advantage

- Advanced skills using Ecostruxure Control Expert

- Expert skills using PSO/EPO Ecostruxure Power Operation

- Advanced skills with Cybersecurity Admin Expert Cybersecurity Application Platform

- Advanced skills with Ecostruxure Foxboro DCS

Commercial responsibilities:

- In coordination with the TL and PM, participates in meetings with customers to clarify their needs; identifies technical limits; obtains approvals

- Able to create quotation tools for calculations/studies

- Tracks costs and improves profitability of the calculations/studies, considering the cost of both engineering and site travelling if commissioning is engaged

Responsibilities in terms of Quality:

- Is responsible for the quality of his/her studies and for the associated documentation

- Implements the Quality policy and improves the level of customer satisfaction

- Respect and follow SE HSE Standards and rules

Responsibility in terms of Security/Safety:

- Continuously monitors the security of information processed, stored, sent out

- Acts with discretion, and does not communicate information to those who do not need it

Project and Risk Management:

- Knows the fundamentals of Project Management so that he/she is aware of the Cost/Quality targets related to his/her work, with a specific emphasis on time management & scheduling

- Detects, analyzes, challenges, alerts in case of any deviations from the standard scope of work

- Issues progress reports to the project team

Customer and/or Partner relationships:

- Drives interactions with customer on technical topics related to systems

- Understands customer specifications and needs and translate/explain them to other project members

- Challenges those requirements versus SE available solutions & capabilities

What qualifications will make you successful?

Education and language

- University degree in Electrical engineering (Bachelor as minimum, preferably Master) with a strong experience in the electrical distribution field and in the customer project business

- Mandatory fluent communication skills in English language (minimum B2 level), advantage another language spoken on a fluent level (French, German, Spanish, Russian...)

Experience

- Minimum 8 years’ experience with EPAS/PACIS and/or Wonderware and/or PSO Software

- Minimum 8 years of commissioning experience

- Willingness to travel minimum 50% in EMEAS Region

- EU passport is a mandatory condition for the role

- Driving licence B

Skills

- Ability to take decisions in complex context based on imperfect / missing conditions
