Responsibilities:

We are changing our website to become modern, beautiful, informative and user-friendly. This is where you step in - together with our brand and design... team, you will build an impeccable experience for our users so that learning about ACT and sustainable living is as easy and pleasurable as possible. The role will require an obsessive focus on beautiful customer experiences, ownership and technical leadership developing ACT website.

You will have the opportunity to make a big impact on our web development and work on the full development cycle including design, development, testing, and deployment.

Skills:
• 3+ years of experience building scalable web (and mobile) products (preferably for platforms with users in the millions) and building loosely coupled systems using web technology (strong Node.js background is a plus)
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
• Strong knowledge of web development on different screen sizes
• Strong knowledge of web development UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”
• Knowledge of the open-source web development ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Experience using version control repositories preferably Git
• Expertise in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from Concept and Design to Testing

Additional advantages:
