Assistant Merchandiser Excel Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting an Assistant Merchandiser to join our thriving Irish retail client.

As an Assistant Merchandiser , you will have responsibility for the merchandise direction of your category, establishing processes and actions in line with budgeted sales and profit, as well as the strategic plan of the category.

You will work collaboratively with the buying team, planning budgets and sales to maximise a profitable return for the company.
North Dublin-based.

Package Salary €50-60k Agile working Career progression opportunities Responsibilities of this Assistant Merchandiser job include: The development and implementation of an omni-channel strategy delivering budgeted sales and margin targets and market share growth.
Range planning, determining quantities and store grading. Managing markdown to achieve certain margin % and sales value. Develop and manage departmental budgets in line with overall financial objectives. Liaising... with stores and the online teams. Contribute cross-functionally to in-store and warehouse stockholding and replenishment.

Key requirements of this Assistant Merchandiser job include: 2+ years of relevant Merchandising experience. Organised individual with an ability to work to tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and strong around numbers. Ability to plan and prioritise a varied workload. Quick analytical thinking. Excellent commercial awareness. Strong relationship building skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Ability to use Microsoft Excel at an advanced level.
