CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding R&D company with offices in the heart of Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a QA Automation Engineer (Software) to join their team. The successful applicant will ideally hold a relevant academic background relating to Computer Science and will possess 2+ years of experience in Software Testing. Previous experience with Automated testing is highly advantageous, as is any knowledge of Python. Excellent communication skills in English (Written & Spoken) is a must.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
• Analyze business requirements, create test cases and test conditions.
• Work closely with development team to analyze and resolve defects.
• Implementation of automated test scenarios.
• Writing and executing test plans.
• Handling post production deployment validations.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies.

Key Skills/Experience:
• BSc Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Telecommunications.
• At least 2 years’ commercial experience in... Software QA/Testing.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies.
• Basic Linux usage and Networking skills.
• Knowledge of JIRA for defect tracking is highly advantageous.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication in English are a must.
• Experience with Python is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Selenium test automation with Python Behave Framework is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
