About the Global Digital Hub:

The Global Digital Hub has newly been established within Roche Services & Solutions Center. Our main purpose is to strengthen the digital capabilities of Roche globally by supporting central initiatives with Social Media Management, Brand Support, Digital Publishing Services, Marketing Automation, Copywriting and Creative Design.

About the position:

We aim to further shape and advance the way diabetes is treated by leveraging our integrated Personalised Diabetes... Management approach (iPDM) - a holistic, patient-centric concept to diabetes management that includes connected devices, services, and digital solutions in an open ecosystem which will contribute to limiting the progression of the disease, and improving outcomes thus eventually promoting healthcare system sustainability. In order to do so, we are continuously refining our internal structures and processes to best serve evolving customer and market demand in a seamless and agile way. This enables us to deliver on our commitment to augment access to the most innovative iPDM solutions tailored to the needs of people with diabetes, their caregivers, and healthcare systems - today and in the future.

As a writer, you will work closely with the Global Brand and Marketing Campaigns and Global Social Media teams to help execute our global content strategy in the form of written content for various channels.

Your day to day responsibilities are:

We are looking for upbeat, dynamic individuals who are highly involved and passionate about content writing. As a writer, you will produce a wide range of impactful content, perform updates and changes to existing materials to follow an updated brand and global content strategy, style guide (tone and voice), as well as manage a large number of written content materials using a company content management system (CMS) and digital asset management system (DAM).

Following digital marketing best practices, such as SEO, and brand/style guidelines you will ensure that written content is global-ready, i.e. easy and cost-effective to translate/localise/transcreate, on brand/style, aligned with the campaign concepts/content briefs, and optimised for each distribution channel (website, blog, Facebook vs Instagram post, etc.).

As a qualified expert, you:
• Write and edit medical content for different formats / digital channels and platforms
• Based on detailed briefing, create high quality written content following our brand guidelines, including style guides, SEO, etc.
• Ensure that the content, format and structure comply with regulatory and other guidelines, as well as with Roche best practices
• Monitor assigned tasks and manage own workload, taking ownership and anticipating capacity issues and potential solutions.
• Monitor deadlines and ensuring projects are delivered on time
• Control quality and proofreading for scientific accuracy
• Ensure final content meets the brief and is global-ready, optimised for SEO and each distribution channel
• Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with our marketing team, meeting deadlines and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which may include working on simultaneous projects
• Ensure that the content, format and structure comply with regulatory and other guidelines, as well as with Roche best practices
• Monitor assigned tasks and manage own workload, taking ownership and anticipating capacity issues and potential solutions.

What can you bring to our team:
• University degree (Marketing, Creative Writing, Communications, Journalism, or related field) or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years experience in a similar role
• Effective time management and excellent communication skills
• Proven experience with writing optimised content for the web and digital channels in English
• Outstanding skills for turning content briefs into helpful content that is optimised, easy to translate, read and understand
• A strong eye for editing and improving your own work
• Ability to understand and rigorously follow brand and style guidelines
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Organisational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• A perfectionist’s eye for detail
• Flawless communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to interpret data
• Appetite to learn fast
