Job Description
• Assist Department Head in overseeing the day-to-day finance operations, ensure the accounts are prepared in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standard.
• Oversee the monthly closing of management accounts, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and neatness of the audit schedules.
• Prepare monthly management reports and perform variance analysis between actual result and budget / prior period.
• Review GST returns prepared by Accounts Executives and submit to IRAS on timely basis.
• Plan and perform internal audit on operational and financial matters at retail outlets to ensure compliance with company’s policies.
• Oversee the inventory system, ensuring the integrity of the warehouse and outlet stocks. Arrange quarterly and year end stock take at both warehouse and outlets
• Assist in setting up new accounting process, procedures and accounting system for newly incorporated entities. Establish SOP for new business setup.
• Prepare intercompany balance and... related parties transaction schedule.
• Liaise with external auditor on queries during financial year end audit.
• Liaise with corporate secretary and tax consultant on secretarial and taxation matters.
• Any other adhoc tasks or projects which may be assigned by senior management

Job requirements
• Degree in Accountancy / ACCA
• 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in leading and supervising mid-size team.
• Able to coach and guide junior staff to achieve work excellence
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (V-lookup, Pivot table) is a must
• Good team player and problem-solving skills
• Good technical accounting skill and knowledge
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Desired attributes : proactive, initiative, analytical mindset, meticulous with an eye for details, discipline, integrity and resourceful.
• Good verbal and written communication skill
