Our client is a leading US listed fortune 500 manufacturing company with global revenue of over 20 billion. With a well established global presence, they are currently looking for a Tax Accountant to join their finance team taking care of the APAC region.

about the job

You will be responsible for the direct and indirect tax compliance activities for the region, with predominant focus for Singapore. You will prepare monthly and annual tax provisioning and ensure filing in accordance with regulatory requirements. You will also support the team on other tax matters including transfer pricing and expatriate tax whenever required. You will answer queries from external tax agents, advise the business on any legislation developments while upholding best practices to ensure governance and compliance.

skills and experience required

You should ideally possess a degree in accountancy or finance with at least 3 years of working experience in the tax function within a... dynamic MNC and/or audit firm. Prior experience in using Oracle will be advantageous. Excellent communication skills and maturity to deal with different cultures and with all levels of staff are necessary.
