We develop innovative software solutions that provide our clients with a seamless pre-trade experience in the Equity Derivatives industry. Our engineers tackle complex technical problems, from vanilla options to algorithmic indices, in an Agile service-oriented infrastructure.

You'll have the opportunity to work on the trading floor, collaborating directly with Front-Office users and witnessing the impact of your work.

As a successful candidate, you should be proficient in software design using cross-language REST based n-tier architecture and Agile methodologies, as well as mentoring less experienced developers. You'll also interact with senior developers across other work streams to integrate increasingly complex product sets.

Role / Responsibilities
• Develop a thorough understanding of our entire technology stack
• Design and develop new features within existing Python services; create new services to expand the overall framework
• Contribute to future design and architecture

• Write acceptance tests in coordination with QA
• Provide L3 user support
• Communicate with our business and platform partners
• Improve and develop our CI pipeline and deployment strategies

Required Skills/Experience
• Demonstrable experience of having designed and developed complex server-side functionality in Python
• SQL - preferably Oracle
• 3 – 8 years of software development experience
• Shell scripting and basic Unix knowledge desirable
• Proficient in writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests
• Comfortable in an agile working environment
• Self-starter and proactive

Desirable Skills/Experience
• Experience with modern web UI technologies; HTML5, React, RESTful services, Websockets
• Knowledge of Structured Products (Notes, Warrants, Certificates)
