The Microsoft Development Center Prague is home to several engineering teams that work on products and services such as Office 365, Identity, Teams, Skype, IC3, Dynamics and Azure DevOps. Some of these teams are focused on User Interfaces, whereas others are more focused on Backend services or Infrastructure. Infrastructure refers to software that is common and other groups depend on.

As we are adding and growing more of such (usually) DevOps engineering teams, we are also looking for people to manage and grow them. Identity Platform, part of Microsoft Entra, seeks a Principal Engineering Manager to help our team tackle some of our most complex problems – our Platform team, of which you would be a part, is charged to increase availability of mission-critical services, building better software to serve over 1B humans globally. • The Runtime & Kubernetes team is leading our effort to provide a unified runtime based on opinionated and cost effective Kubernetes infrastructure to the whole Identity & Network Access division, aiming to unify areas such as topology, resiliency and security practices.
• Our Buildout and Sovereign Cloud team focuses on automating deployment of entire public and sovereign clouds and cloud regions. It uses industry-wide technologies to ship a platform used by thousands of engineers.
• The Identity Data Platform team is the hub for business-critical data and analytics, for the Identity & Network Access division. We are responsible for harnessing data to provide intelligent features in our product experiences, to provide customer Reports based on data through UX and APIs, as well as to enable business-critical data-driven decisions
