My Client is a leading provider of sustainability consulting services within the construction sector, based in Sydney. They specialize in helping their clients achieve IS Rating certifications, which recognizes the environmental performance of buildings and developments. Their team of experts helps organizations to design, construct and operate buildings that are more energy-efficient, water-efficient, and sustainable.

Position Overview:

They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Consultant with experience in IS Rating to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will work closely with our clients to help them achieve IS Rating certification for their buildings and developments, and to help them improve the environmental performance of their projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide IS Rating consultancy services to clients throughout the design, construction, and operation of their buildings and developments
•... Prepare and submit IS Rating documentation and assessments to the relevant authorities
• Assist clients in the development of sustainable design strategies and building specifications
• Conduct energy and resource efficiency assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with other teams in the company to deliver comprehensive sustainability solutions
• Stay up-to-date on industry developments and regulatory requirements related to IS Rating and sustainability
• Prepare client reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Architecture, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in sustainability consulting, with a focus on IS Rating and the construction sector
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong project management skills
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. IS Rating, Green Star, NABERS
