REPORTS TO: BAT Algeria Security Manager FUNCTION: Security

LOCATION: Oran, Algeria
Purpose Statement:

Develop and implement proactive and efficient measures to mitigate identified risks and provide comprehensive security service of the highest quality, ensuring that threats to Oran Factory production and supply chain operations, Warehouses, and TM&D West Region personnel, and assets are properly identified, evaluated, and countered in a timely and cost- effective manner.
Principal Accountabilities:

Operational/Professional/Business
• Develops and implements installation specific policies, procedures, standards, training, and methods.
• Ensures accounting, sealing and dispatch of finished goods transport under proper security escort.
• Directs the initiation of proactive facility assessments and surveys and based on results of trends and survey results, recommends corrective measures.
• In consultation with the Security manager... Develop and implement Security Awareness for all employees and where appropriate valued business partners, to ensure full cross- functional commitment to security policies, procedures and strategies through communication, education, and evaluation of initiative.

Working Relationships

Internal:
• * All functions and Ops Leadership Team Members
• Coordinate of Factory and Trade West Region Crisis Management Committee
• Business Continuity Manager

External:
• * Local Security Managers
• Management of guarding companies
• District administration
• Mutual Assistance Programs (fire, industrial action etc)

Qualifications :
• A minimum of five (5) years of progressive responsibility and experience in corporate security position, as a security supervisor/coordinator, or other security- related job
• Working knowledge of any required computer programs and security technology
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to monitor surveillance systems and respond to emergency situations
• Excellent team building and leadership skills
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• Interest in protecting the people and assets within the organization or company
• Good level in English is required.
