Parts & Services Financing is a critical component of the Volvo Financial Services’ suite of customer and dealer... solutions. The Volvo Financial Services (VFS) ambition is to double the revenue from this service vertical by 2025. The Parts & Service Financing Manager will play a key role in both strategy development and execution with emphasis on expansion in Europe. This position reports to the Parts & Service Financing Director and the location will be one of the hub locations for VFS and the Volvo Group (Lyon, France; Gothenburg, Sweden; Warwick, UK and Greensboro, NC.)
Partner with Volvo Business Areas to analyze, evaluate and develop market strategies to support Parts & Services Financing growth.
Drive new market entries from initial conceptualization to business case to commercialization including market implementation.
Evaluate operational capabilities in new markets and assesses and strengthen risk, credit, and operational capabilities.
Foster the development and operationalization of business partnerships to further expand the Parts and Services Financing product offer.
Provide market and business intelligence analysis.
Continually identify and analyze regional market trends as they relate to Parts & Services Financing product and service opportunities.
Drive regional efficiencies by assessing operational needs and identifying opportunities to leverage Volvo Group systems and processes.
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
• University degree in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent required
• 10+ years of financial services industry experience
• Transportation industry experience a plus
• Relevant experience with factoring or other purchase finance products
• Proven leadership capability
• Fluent in English, other language skills preferred
