(Senior) Consultant – Data Advisory ESG (d/f/m)

As a (Senior) Consultant in one of Cognizant’s most strategically important and fastest-growing practices, you will bring leadership, passion, energy, strong communication skills and intellect, working collaboratively in agile environments with subject matter experts, technologists, creative teams and business stakeholders to support our clients on their digital transformation journey to become data and insights driven.
Your Key Result Areas
• You will deliver ESG consulting engagements related to client’s sustainability strategy, data reporting and other data projects as needed.
• You will work as part of a team (and potentially lead work streams in large projects) to deliver ESG Data projects, including current state assessments, high level solution design and roadmap development.
• You will provide support in project related to data analysis and reporting across a range of ESG metrics
• You will work on proposals and engage with customer pre-sales activities
• You will prepare presentation materials and pitch on sustainability and ESG-related topics internally and externally
• You will support Data Advisory Community Leaders in the development of AIA Advisory offerings and assets
• You will participate in the ESG Community to contribute to knowledge sharing practice
• You will Participate in continuous learning and development activities to maintain ‘leading edge’ skills relevant to our clients
Your Qualification
• You have minimum 6 years’ experience in business and/or data analysis, with minimum of 3 years expertise in ESG Data & Analytics
• You have a degree related sustainability field, business or finance preferred
• In-depth experience of data-related disciplines (e.g., ESG, data governance, MDM, data modelling, data integration etc.) and in leading / facilitating business workshops
• You have an excellent communication, requirements analysis, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• You have a good understanding of Sustainability topic and (but not necessarily hands-on) of the capabilities of leading enterprise BI / visualisation tool (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, MicroStrategy etc.)
• You have a good understanding of data science, AI, ML concepts
• Experience around Digital Transformation, Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), Data Platforms (both Lakes and Warehouses), IoT, etc.
• Experience of working in and ideally leading agile development environments (e.g., in Product Manager or Scrum Master role)
• Foundational level understanding of data privacy and/or regulatory frameworks
• Consulting expertise gained with a management consultancy or systems integrator is an advantage
• Good language skills in German and English
