Hampreston CE VA First School is looking for a highly organised, efficient Office Manager/Finance Officer with excellent interpersonal skills to work in our busy school office. This rewarding role covers a wide range of responsibilities including financial administration, budget management, HR management and secretarial duties. You will be required to offer a friendly and helpful ‘front-of-house’ welcome to pupils, parents and visitors.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate sound financial experience along with excellent keyboard skills; a knowledge of Microsoft office and Excel and an ability to work with a number of other school related IT systems. Experience of working in a school would... be an advantage and an ability to work effectively in a busy environment is essential. The school office is a busy and fast-moving environment and the duties included in the position are varied. We are looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable in their approach with the ability to prioritise their workload effectively.

The salary scale shown is based on a full academic year being worked and includes paid holiday / bank holiday entitlement for an employee with under 5 years’ service. A salary adjustment will therefore be made each month in the first year to reflect the actual period being worked and the holiday / bank holiday leave accrued.
