Located within a City Farmer store allows for great cross-referral opportunities and the ability to provide clients with the best options for the ongoing care and support of their pets.

The Baldivis team is close-knit with a shared focus on low-stress handling - we are a low stress certified clinic, and all staff members have completed this qualification. We spend that little bit extra time with our patients and clients to ensure a stress-free experience for everyone and we take pride on getting to know our clients and pets on a personal level!

We are looking for a Casual Vet Nurse to work 5-10 hours a week, with possible Saturday shifts. You will be provided with all the support to give you increased confidence and refined expertise!

The Role:
• Casual role undertaking general nursing tasks, including... pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
• Performing minor procedures when required
• Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
• Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone

Our Ideal Applicant:
• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 2+ years of experience
• Excellent animal handling skills
• An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
• Good organisational, communication and customer service skills
• Flexible and adaptable within a team environment
• Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
