Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (negotiable)
Salary Band -
The likely salary for this role will fall between $50k to $60k. The likely hourly rate for this role will fall between $27 to $30.
About the role
To provide high quality Personal Assistant support to the Regional Director of Community Ministries (DCM) and Senior Administrative support to the Northern Region Community Ministries operation. To assist the DCM to achieve the work and outcome requirements of their respective position.
Key tasks
• Assist and support the DCM in their work objectives and projects.
• General office administration
• Provide clear communications and prompt replies to staff and centres across the Region
• Organisation of meetings, travel, catering, and events.
Person Specification
• Strong... communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience of effective office practices
• Computer literacy and technology skills
• Experience in relating to people with different cultural/ethnic backgrounds.
About the Department/Operation/Programme
Community Ministries within the Northern Region of the Salvation Army operates out of a model of mission integration. In partnership with the Corps, Mission Support Centre works to equip and empower our centres and their teams to connect with people in their local communities to deliver effective social services that Care for People, Transform Lives and Reform Society in God, through Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
