Our client is recruiting an Assistant Accountant

Main Role and Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain proper accounting records, financial statements
• Develop, analyse, and comment on key financial information
• Lead the statutory year end audit and liaise with auditors
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures
• Implement systems and procedures
• Ensure all statutory returns are made within deadline
• Help in budgetary process

Profile and experience:
• ACCA level 2 or equivalent
• Good computer literacy skills, with experience in Microsoft Excel
• 2-3 years’ experience in a finance function
• Experience in audit would be an advantage
• Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
• Knowledge of SAGE Evolution and Cane Industry would be an advantage.
