Job Overview You will be looked upon by the EMQ2 community to provide leadership, direction, and mentorship for budding UX & UI practitioners. Your familiarity with providing design advice, guidelines, and recommendations, and driving the organisation to achieve success in creating delightful UX in digital products for clients. You will need to drive design thinking application to our approach, design problem-solving end-to-end, from identifying user needs, generating concepts to defining and creating a product and crafting how people will interact with it. You'll also be... expected to develop the product's overall functionality and iterate on it by user testing to create a magical user experience. I. Main activities/tasks: . Cross-collaborating with Service Delivery Lead, Business Analyst, Developers, on concept development and design ideation to deliver user-centric digital product for clients . Working with the Developer team to identify, conceptualise and solve problems to enhance the overall user experience and maximise business impact . Supporting the Business Development team by working on pitches and generating suggestions for prospective work . Demonstrating high-quality design practices including in all aspect of UI and UX: research, ideation, interaction design and visual design . Mentoring junior designers and fostering a collaborative and positive environment within the team . Conceptualising designs with well-grounded UIUX theories and practical knowledge . Driving the UX, business and technical conversations with the team and clients . Staying abreast with new technologies, industry trends and promoting a culture of learning and innovation . Driving ideas from start to finish and advocating for best practices through design architecture and live implementation . Facilitate Design Thinking workshops with clients to align project vision and strategy for an end-to-end design process. Above all, have fun playing a key role in creating and leading digital experience across multiple platforms II. Job Requirements Knowledge and skills . Confident in your experience in creating delightful UX and UI design (both visual and interaction design) or production in the digital space for a user base of thousands to millions . Confident in your experience to leverage teamwork to achieve more . Confident in building client relationship and collaboration . Strong knowledge of web and mobile app UX/UI, and experience in designing products across Web, Android and iOS platforms . Familiar with UI prototyping tools i.e., Figma, Adobe XD, etc. . Have a deep understanding of the fundamentals of user centricity . Passionate about creating experiences that fuse non-digital and digital through research, analytics, design and delivery . Strong aesthetic aptitude and ability to articulate, rationalise and document design directions . Able to adopt a forward-thinking mindset to create new ideas and applications . Excellent interpersonal and communication skills . Experience with cross-disciplinary teams and client management would be advantageous . Excellent communication skills in English Good to have: . Diploma / Degree in design/communication/advertising/journalism/Media/Psychology or equivalent . Strong portfolio including user research, personas, sketches, wireframes, digital designs for native apps and web . Strong portfolio must also showcase strength in designing digital product experiences . Experience producing UX prototypes . Having experience in educating or learning system would be advantageous . Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Personal traits: . Excellent diplomacy and communication skills .
