We are seeking 1 full time Certified Nurse Midwife to join our OBGYN team. The ideal candidate would have strong clinical skills and an exceptional bedside manner, providing obstetric and gynecologic care to our patients and performing deliveries in our hospital. We have pristine new facilities for our OB/GYN office located in the main hospital building, ensuring women have access to... state-of-the-art gynecologic care. Our exceptional, experienced Labor and Delivery nurses and OB/GYN physicians will partner with the Midwives to provide the full range of obstetrical services. Together, their excellence was recognized in our national designation of “Baby Friendly Hospital.” We are a community hospital with approximately 375 births/year.

Salary/pay scale/differentials:
• RANGE: $115K - $130K/year

• SIGN-ON/RELOCATION: $10,000 sign-on, $10,000 Relocation with receipts, $2,500/year in loan repayment for 5 years, $2,500 CME funds

Openings/Schedule Details:
• DAYS AND HOURS, WEEKENDS ROTATIONS, CALL, REMOTE OPTIONS, OTHER DETAILS
• 1:4 call – Shared with OB/GYN’s
• Typical schedule: 3 clinic days (1 is on-call) + 1 weekend of call each month (with OBGYN back-up)
• Clinic hours: 8-5pm (closes at 4:30 – half hour buffer for paperwork)
• On call is usually 24 hours (might sounds like a lot for someone coming from a large hospital – on average they see 1 birth a day – sometimes you don’t get called in at all if you are on call – other times you might have 3 births in one day – they have a sleep room for days like this if needed
