This role can be fully remote and is open to people living anywhere in the UK. If you do live near one of our locations, there is the option for some office-based time too.

About the Role -

We’re seeking a talented WordPress web developer or wanna-be a WordPress web developer to join our team. We’d like to speak to people from a range of backgrounds and levels of experience.

About You -

You love to code, and if you aren't already making a career out of building WordPress websites, that is what you want to do.

You ideally have experience in creating websites on WordPress using themes, plugins, or code, commercially or as part of a degree or side... hustle.

You’re driven and a self-starter, happy to learn on the job and work in an environment where continuous learning and development are a must.

You enjoy working as part of a team and are comfortable chatting with colleagues via Google Chat and Google Meet. You must be motivated and able to manage your time as you will be working remotely with high levels of autonomy.

You’ll be versatile and have a ‘can do’ attitude, and you’ll be happy to roll up your sleeves and help out wherever you can.

Key Stuff -

Demonstrable knowledge of WordPress

Strong skills in HTML5 and CSS3

JavaScript knowledge and knowledge of popular JavaScript libraries/frameworks

Confident enough to take a project from start to finish

Passionate about technology and your work

Some knowledge of PHP-based frameworks

Self-aware, self-starter, not over-faced by new challenges

Personable, fun demeanour

Bonus Stuff -

Experience working with APIs and integrations

Awareness of SEO & Accessibility Standards

Previous experience/knowledge of in working with ACF blocks in Gutenberg

Some knowledge of React
