Job Title: PHP Developer

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £35,000 DOE

My client is looking for an PHP Developer to join an innovative and fast-growing digital app and cloud software solutions company based in Sheffield.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of a variety of web languages, development frameworks and technologies, with a particular focus on PHP. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom web applications, ensuring robust and reliable software solutions are delivered on time.

Job Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP
• Write clean, well-structured and reusable code
• Design and implement database structures
• Integrate 3rd party APIs and services
• Write and execute unit tests
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues
• Ensure applications are secure and adhere to industry best practices

Technical Skills Required
• Proficiency in PHP
• Experience Laravel
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
• Understanding of... SQL Syntax
• Modernise existing codebases in both modern & legacy JavaScript/PHP Environments
