Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic design graduate to join the team in supporting our brands across all apparel commodities. This designer will work together with the Design team to create quality and wearable product that aligns with company vision and seasonal direction.

What you'll do:

Research and Develop
• Actively participate in the conceptual development of product lines, collaborating with apparel designers to expand graphics presence in apparel line
• Support the development of themes and concepts using inspiration from samples and market research to establish seasonal graphics direction
• Assist in creation of design concepts and presentation for each season
• Participate in the conceptual development of product lines, collaborating with apparel designers to expand graphics presence in apparel line
• Research seasonal key trends, colour, application techniques and innovation that is brand right
• Assist in building Seasonal Design Presentations
• Develop and update overviews

Design
• Create and design original artwork for apparel, including all over print design, graphic art and apparel marketing designs (i.e. hangtags)
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material for apparel and arrange layouts based on aesthetic design concepts
• Assist in the creation and development of labels, tags and branding accessories for apparel product

What you've done:
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Suite, Illustrator/Photoshop is essential
• Ability to maintain a high standard of design and productivity in a fast-paced work environment
• Must have an eye for detail, color and creativity combined with fashion industry insight
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
