This position challenges you to

…work on EU and international projects on the cutting edge of technology, policy making and government measures. You will provide research and policy recommendations on areas like (EU) transport policy, infrastructure, multimodal transport, urban logistics, sustainable mobility and energy transition. You are convinced that solid research will lead to meaningful results that will offer insights for better governance and advice on how to further develop transport and mobility policy. As a consultant you will follow closely all the trends affecting the transport sector, as well as what drives your clients and their needs.

Your duties will include:
• writing tenders and devise research designs;
• executing both quantitative and qualitative research;
• writing reports (consultancy or research projects);
• prepare and deliver presentations to wider audiences;
• identify opportunities from your network in the market, both in The Netherlands and in Europe;
•... forming useful consortia with partners from within or outside your own network;
• guiding junior researchers in their work;
• maintaining, signalling and using opportunities from your network in the market, both in The Netherlands and in Europe;
• writing accessible research reports;
