In Buxtehude we work on the next generation of cabin systems to create unique passenger flight experiences. With around 400 employees, Airbus in Buxtehude supplies the entire Airbus fleet with the electronic cabin communication equipment and passenger systems that are always on the cutting edge of the industry. What does your new challenge look like?
• You are involved in concept creation for new electronic cabin equipment and you give inputs to specification and planning process.
• You organize and review development for electronic equipment in the context of the aviation certification process.
• You generate all needed design data for cabin equipment.
• You will develop electronic devices for cabin systems (digital and analog design, initial operation and verification of prototypes).
• You create and evaluate documents for supplier selection and you will monitor subcontractors.
• You perform functional and environmental qualification testing according to aviation requirements (EMC, vibrations, temperature, etc.).
• You create and verify documents for certification and for production of equipment.
• You will work in cooperation with the project management, the software department, the production technology and the quality management.

What do you bring?
• You have graduated in electrical engineering or telecommunications, or you have a similar education.
• You have proven knowledge in electronic design.
• You are aware of current electronic technologies, architectures, standards and market trends.
• You have experience in qualification testing.
• You have knowledge of certification regulation according RTCA DO-254, DO-160 and ABD0100.
• You are familiar with requirement-based engineering (e.g. Tool DOORS).
• You have very good negotiating skills in English.
• Ideally, you have some German skills as a plus.
