Position: Compliance and Safety Officer

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Job Purpose: To facilitate compliance with safety guidelines based on OSHA standard in a warehouse/distribution facility. To assess risk and provide recommendation as well as measures to minimize hazards and unhealthy situations.

Job Responsibilities:

Development of OHS policies and programs

Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures

Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues

Record and investigate incidents to determine causes

Prepare reports on occurrences

Oversee workplace repair, installations, and other activities that may affect employee safety

Job Qualifications:
• Graduate of any Engineering Course
• With at least 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in a Warehouse, Distribution, or Manufacturing set-up
• In depth knowledge in health and safety laws, policies, and guideline
• Experience with writing policies and procedures for health and safety
• Outstanding... organizational skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
