An exciting opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse with community nursing experience to join our team as a Nurse Educator.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years nursing experience in primary, community and/or public health.
The successful applicant will provide structured clinical education and training to develop expertise, enhance client, whānau and community outcomes and ensure safe nursing care standards are maintained.
Knowledge and practice application of tikanga and mātauranga Māori will be beneficial.
You will be based with Ngā Manu Teka Practice Development Unit, in partnership with Uru Kiriora Communities, Localities and Commissioning.
You will report to the... Kaiwhakahaere Kaiwhakaako Tapuhi Nurse Educator Lead and work alongside other senior nurses and educators.

Central to this role are our clinical teams so needless to say you'll enjoy engaging with people, creating and maintaining relationships, and have the ability and enthusiasm to get people engaged when it comes to education.
You must be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current Practising Certificate, a highly skilled communicator, exemplify lifelong learning and have experience in teaching.
