Our client are looking for an individual aspiring to become qualified Actuary to help grow their well-established General Insurance team as an Actuarial Student Consultant.
Unlike most major consultancies, our client has no KPIs and no focus on billable hours, offering a great work-life balance.
They also have no work related to audits, operating much like a mutual or large insurer.
Our client are hoping to develop passionate Actuarial students to align with their philosophy of providing strong Actuarial advice with efficiency and effectiveness.
With this in mind, our client are hoping to appoint an individual with a large capacity for learning new skills with strong aspirations to succeed as an Actuary.
Responsibilities of the Actuarial Student Consultant: Develop predictive models across Capital, Reserving and... Pricing.
Help clients understand and manage key risks associated with their policies.
Demonstrate enthusiasm to develop Actuarial skills.
Key experience of the Actuarial Student Consultant: A University degree, achieving at least a 2:1.
Excellent mathematics skills, particularly in statistics.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
The package on offer is strong and includes full study support, with incremental salary increases for each IFoA exam passed.
