About Ayu in the Wild: Curating sustainable luxury travel with a climate conscious and social impact lens, since 2012.

Responsibilities
• Timely preparation of costing/pricing spreadsheets for itineraries and travel products.
• Compile periodic and annual financial information on the impact of sustainable luxury travel and how each itinerary supports communities and ecosystems.
• Identify seasonal and special offer variances of accommodation and provide information for external communications and marketing material.
• Maintain financial summaries of the contribution to multiple positive impact initiatives.
• Systems Savvy – on-going maintenance of accurate costs in database/online portals.
• Review and approval of supplier invoicing, managing payment, resolving queries with 3rd party... suppliers.
• Tour income and cost reconciliation and coordination of tour accounting deadlines.
• Documentation, computing accounting summaries and daily administration duties related to travel including maintaining office systems, financial information management and filing.
• Coordinate - monthly accounts deadlines with external Accountants, finance and reporting information requirements of Sri Lanka Tourism, statutory dues and annual returns and annual Audit.
• Ability to work in a small team with Travel Researchers and be truly service oriented.

Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• A desire to progress and develop practical experience alongside CIMA/ACCA or similar business school degree in accounting.
• Good financial modeling skills on spreadsheets required. Expert in Microsoft Excel.
• A minimum 2 years of experience in costing
• Travel and tourism or hospitality industry experience is preferred although not mandatory.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to multitask to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to explain financial information to non-finance team members and to liaise with external service providers.
• Female applicants preferred

Overall training will be provided, with a special focus on pricing/costing immersive travel products (activities) and to analyze, calculate and report the financial impact of sustainable travel.
